Our Team

Nicholas D. Ward, MD

My core professional passion lies at the intersection of hematopathology and molecular pathology, specialized fields dedicated to unlocking critical diagnostic insights from blood, bone marrow, lymph nodes, and tissue specimens. A central focus of my practice is evaluating complex hematologic malignancies, such as leukemia and lymphoma, where integrating classical cellular morphology with advanced genetic profiling is vital. I routinely review next-generation sequencing and other molecular techniques to provide timely, comprehensive genomic profiling directly from patient samples. These precise results are critical for pinpointing the specific molecular drivers of disease, which empowers clinical oncologists to make highly individualized decisions regarding targeted cancer therapies. I am immensely proud of our team’s diagnostic excellence and the close, collaborative relationships we maintain with treating physicians to ensure every pathology report we deliver is unparalleled in quality, clarity, and clinical utility.
