Pathology Aide – Education Coordinator

The HPA education coordinator organizes and prepares materials for multidisciplinary patient care conferences for Allina and other participating healthcare institutions.

Biopsy Technician

The biopsy technician works alongside HPA’s accomplished pathologists’ assistants and other healthcare professionals in the laboratory diagnostic process.

Pathology Aide – Operating Room Runner

OR runners communicate directly with surgeons during specimen pick-up, especially when special requests for a patient’s specimen may include an intra-operative consultation.

Pathology Aide – Workflow Coordinator

HPA workflow coordinators are the primary organizers and distributors of glass slides emanating from the Allina histology, cytology, and hematology laboratories.

Pathology Aide – Quality Assurance Assistant

The HPA quality assurance (QA) assistant duties include managing information, coordinating communication, and analyzing data from the hospital and physician’s offices.
