As an AP/CP boarded pathologist, my goal is to provide comprehensive directorship to our affiliated and community-based hospital laboratories. I am the laboratory medical director at sites in Northfield, Shakopee, Faribault and Owatonna, MN. My subspecialty iscytopathology and my interests include autopsy and ENT pathology.
Quality patient care for a pathologist involves good communication with multiple clinical specialties/practitioners as well as understanding laboratory testing, histology and cell morphology. These aspects, and participation in multidisciplinary conferences, provide an enhanced understanding of each patient’s case to cross my desk, keeping me engaged in this fascinating field of medicine.
