Hematopathologist with Subspecialty Expertise

Hospital Pathology Associates (HPA) is a 40-pathologist practice in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota. Our growing practice is seeking a hematopathologist to join us in 2025 or 2026.  Additional expertise in another practice area such as molecular pathology, transfusion medicine, or a surgical pathology subspecialty is highly desirable.   At least 3 years of experience is preferred, but exceptional current trainees will be considered.

We offer an enjoyable, collaborative working environment in a successful, pathologist-owned practice affiliated with a major Twin Cities health system.  We are fully subspecialized, with most pathologists participating in one to three specialty services.  This fosters internal expertise, professional growth, and collaboration across the group. We work closely with our clinical colleagues.  As such, strong communication and interpersonal skills are requisite. Our practice boasts an extensive in-house testing menu including flow cytometry, cytogenetics, FISH, next generation sequencing, and same day immunohistochemistry.

The expected salary range for this position is $280,000 to $400,000 for recent graduates of training programs, depending on experience and fellowship training.

Some of the key requirements of the position include:

  • Must be able to obtain unrestricted Minnesota and Wisconsin licenses.
  • Must be Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Pathology.
  • Must be able to obtain privileges at all hospitals/facilities we service.
  • Must be work-authorized without needing sponsorship (HPA is not able to sponsor visas).
