My interest in Head and Neck Pathology arose during my residency at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. There I trained under Dr Yao Shi Fu an exceptional head and neck pathologist. In addition, I received specialized training in oral pathology from Drs Phillip Sapp and Albert Abrams. I was on staff at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for a number of years where I served in the Head and Neck Pathology division. In addition, I served in the Endocrine Pathology Division at Mayo Clinic with Drs Ricardo Lloyd, J Aiden Carney and John Goellner. I have published numerous articles in the fields of head and neck as well as endocrine pathology, have served on the editorial board of Endocrine Pathology and am contributing author to the new WHO tumor classification monograph Pathology and Genetics of Tumors of the Head and Neck.
