Services Offered

1.  Microscopic Interpretation of Tissue Samples

• We have an active outpatient biopsy interpretation service with excellent turnaround times; open to anyone. Contact Dr. Kenneth Batts at 612-863-4666.

• We currently serve the Allina Hospital and Clinics on a contractual basis.

• We provide consultative assistance to other pathologists through the Allina Consultative Center (612-863-4670, #3).

• We provide second opinion review of cases for clinicians through the Allina Consultative Center (612-863-4670, #3).

2.  Microscopic Interpretation of Cytology Preparations

• Relevant to the GI tract, we provide considerable expertise in interpretation of fine needle samples obtained through endoscopic ultrasound (EUS).  Contact Dr. Carol Larson at 612-863-7537.

3.  Special Tissue Studies

• We offer in house a full range of immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, cytogenetics, and molecular studies.  For tests not currently offered in house, coverage by reference laboratories is  provided through us. Contact Dr. Laurel Krause at 612-863-4236.

4.  Clinical Pathology Studies

• Through our close relationship with and supervision of the Allina Medical Laboratories a full range of clinical laboratory support is available, from basic testing to reference lab work. Contact Dr. Laurel  Krause at 612-863-4236.

5.  Continuing Education Lectures
