My interest in soft tissue pathology began in residency while working with Dr. Louis Dehner at Washington University in St. Louis.  It was there that I saw the diverse array of pathologic processes that occur in soft tissue and the heterogeneity among the various classes of tumors.  I furthered my experience by spending a year as a soft tissue fellow with Dr. Sharon Weiss at Emory University.  At Emory I was fortunate to see a vast number of soft tissue tumors, bone tumors and challenging consultation cases from around the country all while developing a special interest in benign and malignant vascular tumors.
